Nature gives freely, quietly.
She doesn’t need trophies or fancy gifts.
Dew on the grass, morning air,
These are her mesmerizing gifts to us.

She offers us shade without asking,
Rivers flow without expecting thanks,
Air is for everyone, no one owns,
Patience is her timeless gift.

But we rush by, unaware,
Not noticing what our own riches,
Forgetting that when we don’t appreciate,
We get deprived of the beauty around us.

The tree stands still, waiting for us patiently,
The earth still holds our footsteps,
The sky still opens each morning,
All full of kindness and generosity.

When we pay attention, we receive,
When we care, we honor what we have,
Nature’s gifts remain only where
We value and concerningly care for them.
